I hope this information will help you discover our church, the ministries, the people, & the Lord Jesus Christ! Today in technology & fast-paced lifestyles, it is important to keep in touch with the Lord, each other, & those seeking the Savior. We love the Lord here with a true love for each other. I am privileged to be pastor here since 1995-we have seen many changes. We have moved forward in the mission mandate given by the Lord to teach & disciple, as we share Christ with those who do not have a relationship with Him. Our objective is to bring glory to the Lord in all we do. LCBC was planted on Monkey Island in 1942 as a lighthouse to this lake community. Many have served & sacrificed for the Lord as pastors, lay men & women setting before us a wonderful legacy to follow. The Lord has blessed mightily thru the years, with a multitude of people coming to know Him as Savior, with great facilities to worship Him in, with great fellowship to be encouraged by His people, & a great future as we look for His return. The Lord has blessed us indeed! We invite you to come & be blessed thru worship in song, thru the Word, & thru a relationship with the true & living GOD. Our music is a blend of hymns & contemporary choruses, a great choir, soloists, ensembles, instrumentalists, special productions & concerts. The message of GOD's Word, which never changes, is preached without hesitation & with much conviction, & remains applicable to our changing world. The staff of LCBC is dedicated to serve the Lord-to give Him all praise & honor. Please feel welcome to worship the Lord with us anytime. -Bro. Kim Hays Proverbs 3:5-6
